Does NissanConnectTM Apps use my smartphone data plan?
Yes, NissanConnectTM Apps relies on your smartphone data plan to access the content and services that the apps you use require. Standard data rates will apply.
Does NissanConnectTM enrollment require my smartphone to be tethered by cord?
Only if you're connecting an iPhone® to a NissanConnectTM system equipped with navigation. Otherwise, your smartphone will use a Bluetooth® connection [*].
Does NissanConnectTM Apps support multiple phones and drivers?
Yes, you can have different mobile devices paired via Bluetooth®. However, connections will be prioritized by the order in which the phones were paired to the vehicle. [*]
If two owners with a connected smartphone are in the same vehicle, which phone's data does NissanConnectTM display?

Why does my iPhone® need to be connected via USB to my vehicle in order to use NissanConnect™ Apps?

How do I link my smartphone to the NissanConnectTM system?
Is my iPhone® required to be physically connected to the vehicle to utilize all NissanConnect™ features?

I'm having trouble connecting my NissanConnect™ app to my vehicle. What can I do?
I’m experiencing problems connecting the NissanConnect™ App with my vehicle’s non-navigation audio system while connected via Bluetooth. What can I do?
- 1. Open the NissanConnect™ app and sign in using your Nissan Owner Portal account credentials, or select "Demo" mode or "Use as Guest" mode.
- 2. Turn the vehicle ignition off and restart the vehicle and/or toggle Bluetooth off and then on again using the audio system Bluetooth menu.
I’m experiencing problems connecting the NissanConnect™ App with my vehicle’s navigation audio system while connected via Bluetooth. What can I do?
- 1. Open the NissanConnect™ App and sign in using your Nissan Owner Portal account credentials, or select "Demo" mode or "Use as Guest" mode.
- 2. Press the APPS button on your audio system, then press the My Apps button on the screen to connect.

What NissanConnectTM functions are limited when driving?
Driver distraction regulations may cause certain functions to be unavailable while driving. For example, keyboard entry is only available when the vehicle is stationary.
Can I type while driving?
No, the keyboard is locked for safety while driving. However, you can use voice commands and customizable pre-loaded responses.
Which apps are included with NissanConnectTM Apps?

Are there additional apps I can add to my account?
Certain NissanConnectTM systems offer Premium apps that you can subscribe to, at an additional cost. When Premium apps are available, they will be displayed in the 'Manage My Apps' section of the NissanConnectTM Web Portal, and in the NissanConnectTM companion app.
What features will my NissanConnectTM system include?
Do I need to download certain apps on my smartphone before I can use them with my NissanConnectTM system?

Can I use NissanConnectTM Apps services while driving?
Yes, all NissanConnectTM Apps are available while the vehicle is in motion, but certain functions may be limited to prevent driver distractions. Keyboard entry, for example, is only available when the vehicle is stationary.
Will location-based apps work on NissanConnect™ systems without Navigation?
Location-based apps will not be available on vehicles without NAV. Apps with POI functionality—such as Facebook—will still be available, but the POI component of that app will not work. [*]
How many Google™ Send-to-Car destinations will my navigation save?
Your vehicle will show the 50 most recent destinations sent via Google™ Send-to-Car. If you have more than 50 destinations, the oldest will drop off as new destinations are sent to your vehicle.
Is SiriusXM All Access available on all vehicles equipped with satellite radio?
Yes. Customers who buy or lease a new Nissan equipped with SiriusXM can receive a free 3-month trial to the XM All Access package. With this package you'll enjoy over 150 channels in your Nissan, plus over 160 channels on your computer, smartphone, or tablet with SiriusXM Internet Radio. [*]

Should I be concerned about personal data security when connecting my smartphone to my NissanConnect™ system?
The NissanConnect™ system does not access the personal information stored on your smartphone, such as address book, but will require certain credentials for access to subscribed apps, such as Facebook.
Does NissanConnectTM retain my billing information?
No personal billing information is stored in your NissanConnectTM system.
Does NissanConnectTM Apps store any personal app data in its system?
It temporarily stores session information, but removes the data the next time you log in to your NissanConnectTM system.
