Bluetooth® is a new wireless technology that enables connectivity between multiple electronic devices by utilizing a 2.4 GHz radio spectrum that has a range of approximately 30 feet. Bluetooth® will allow you to use your cell phone hands-free in the vehicle. For more information about Bluetooth® wireless technology, please visit www.bluetooth.org.
No, not all Bluetooth® phones are compatible. Phones must have the Bluetooth® hands-free profile and be listed as a Nissan-recommended phone to ensure compatibility. Nissan will continually evaluate existing and newly released Bluetooth® phones to help ensure quality operation and compatibility.
The Bluetooth® Information Center lists all compatible phones for Nissan vehicles. Begin your search at Find a Phone.
If your phone is not on the Nissan-recommended phone list, limited functions may be available, but the system will not operate correctly or to its fullest capability.
New mobile phones are introduced to the public regularly and we are continually in the process of testing them for compatibility. If you do not see the device you want to use with our Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, please contact Nissan Consumer Affairs at 1-800-647-7261, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Eastern/Central/Pacific Time, Monday to Friday, or e-mail us for further information.
Existing Bluetooth® phones that are not listed as compatible have not passed Nissan testing. Major calling functions like making, accepting, and ending phone calls did not function properly and/or the Bluetooth® connection was not stable.
No, only cell phones with Bluetooth® built in and listed as a Nissan-recommended phone will operate correctly.
Pairing procedures for each of the Nissan-recommended phones can be found by entering your vehicle information at Find a Phone.
The system supports up to five different phones. However, only one phone can be used at a time.
The system supports up to five different phones. If you attempt to add a sixth phone, the system will request you delete one phone.
You must edit the name of the phone before you pair it with the system. Please check your phone owner's manual for instructions on how to change your phone's Bluetooth® ID.
Not all devices support phonebook and/or contact transfers via Bluetooth®. However, you may enter contacts manually. Please refer to your vehicle owner's manual for details on entering contacts manually.
On your phone, please set Bluetooth® to be "ON" and/or "Discoverable" at all times, and/or make sure that the vehicle is marked as a "trusted" device. This will allow the vehicle to automatically connect when it is in range. Please refer to your phone owner's manual for details on adjusting the Bluetooth® settings.
Once you pair a Nissan-recommended Bluetooth® cellular phone to the vehicle, the following features are available:
• Hands-free mobile phone operation with a built-in microphone and utilization of the audio speaker
• Ability to switch between a hands-free call and a private call
• Vehicle-based phonebook
• Voice commands and verbal feedback prompts
• Choice of different ring tones

There is no charging cradle available. Please utilize the in-vehicle charger available through your cellular carrier or phone manufacturer.
The Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System is covered under the basic warranty of 36 months/36,000 miles (whichever occurs first).
• Speak the voice commands in the correct format and sequence provided in your Bluetooth® Set-up Guide
• Commands should be spoken clearly and at a normal pace
• Wait for the beep before speaking a command
• Voice feedback will be provided by the system
• Cabin noise should always be kept to a minimum (where possible)
• A "HELP" voice commend is available if you are not sure what to say
