Torque vectoring all-wheel drive with rear multilink independent suspension (AWD only)
The Nissan JUKE’s torque vectoring all-wheel drive is an innovative stabilization system designed to keep you in full control in most driving scenarios. In addition to moving power between the front and rear wheels, the multi-sensor system automatically transfers rear-wheel power to the left or right, depending on which needs it more. So any change in direction, such as navigating a roundabout, can be performed smoothly, securely, and with agility. Couple this with the rear multi-link suspension, which delivers exceptional responsiveness while minimizing roughness, and your JUKE is ready to back you up when you need it.
Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) with Sport mode
Smooth as butter and fun to drive. Unlike traditional automatic transmissions, JUKE’s CVT transmission eliminates the need for gear-hunting and delivers a seamless wave of power. In case you miss the spirit of a manual transmission, you can engage Sport mode and bring it right back.
Vehicle-speed-sensitive electric power steering
Every little bit helps. Using electric power steering instead of hydraulic power steering cuts down on the amount of power needed from the engine. And that means more miles out of every tank. Plus, it helps automatically adjusts steering feel based on vehicle speed.

Safety
Nissan Advanced Air Bag System
Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage air bags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. In addition, two supplemental air bags are built into the front seats to offer side impact protection and move with you as you adjust your seating position. Also, roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags help provide head protection for both rows of outboard occupants. [*]
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
This standard feature — sometimes called stability control — continuously monitors your steering and braking actions, senses any oversteer or understeer, and compensates by reducing engine speed and/or applying brake pressure to specific wheels. [*]
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA)
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) pumps the brakes faster than humanly possible in emergency braking situations. This helps prevent your wheels from locking to help you steer around unexpected obstacles. While the Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) sends extra force to the rear brakes when it senses the additional weight of extra people in the back seat or a full tank of gas. In addition, the Brake Assist (BA) senses how hard you’re braking in an emergency and automatically helps boost performance by applying maximum braking pressure.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
TPMS monitors tires for low inflation, which can shorten tire life and help to reduce the load-carrying capabilities of the vehicle. [*]
Front-seat active head restraints
By moving up and forward during certain rear-end collisions, front-seat active head restraints help reduce the chance of whiplash type injuries.
LATCH system (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren)
