The Nissan JUKE’s torque vectoring all-wheel drive is an innovative stabilization system designed to keep you in full control in most driving scenarios. In addition to moving power between the front and rear wheels, the multi-sensor system automatically transfers rear-wheel power to the left or right, depending on which needs it more. So any change in direction, such as navigating a roundabout, can be performed smoothly, securely, and with agility. Every little bit helps. Using electric power steering instead of hydraulic power steering cuts down on the amount of power needed from the engine. And that means more miles out of every tank. Plus, it helps automatically adjusts steering feel based on vehicle speed.

The JUKE comes equipped with standard 17” 5-split-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels making them that are both lightweight and strong. They are fitted with P215/55R17 all-season tires, offering a smooth and confident ride in most conditions.

Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage air bags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. In addition, two supplemental air bags are built into the front seats to offer side impact protection and move with you as you adjust your seating position. Also, roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags help provide head protection for both rows of outboard occupants. [*]

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) pumps the brakes faster than humanly possible in emergency braking situations. This helps prevent your wheels from locking to help you steer around unexpected obstacles. While the Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) sends extra force to the rear brakes when it senses the additional weight of extra people in the back seat or a full tank of gas. In addition, the Brake Assist (BA) senses how hard you’re braking in an emergency and automatically helps boost performance by applying maximum braking pressure.

By moving up and forward during certain rear-end collisions, front-seat active head restraints help reduce the chance of whiplash type injuries.
