Nissan LEAF Q&A
HOW DOES DRIVING AN ELECTRIC CAR HELP THE ENVIRONMENT?
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR AN ELECTRIC CAR SINCE THE COLLEGE PHYSICS CLASS I TOOK ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY IN THE 70S!
I NOTICE OTHER CAR EXHAUST FUMES AND NOISE EMISSIONS A LOT MORE THAN I USED TO.
I always try to do my part, within reason, that's why I got the LEAF.
All electric cars are not

created equal. Some of them aren’t even electric.
WE WANTED TO GO ALL ELECTRIC!
No more gas stations! Did it for the green aspect of it. Wanted to reduce air pollution and have a clean car.
NO MATTER HOW YOU CHARGE AN ELECTRIC CAR, IT'S BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT THAN A GAS-POWERED VEHICLE.
But when we charge at our solar-equipped house, our car is powered by the sun. Driving doesn't get any more guilt-free than that!
I THINK OF ALL THOSE OTHER DIRTY CARS AROUND ME THAT ARE DUMPING POLLUTANTS INTO THE AIR.
I DO FEEL A BIT PROUD THAT WE PICKED A CAR THAT GENERATES LESS AIR POLLUTION THAN THE GAS CARS.
I'm glad that I might be able to inspire someone else to try an EV!
EV Term An environmentally-friendly vehicle powered by electricity in the form of an electric motor and battery pack. Also known as the Nissan LEAF®.
