Z® Roadster Key Features
Fully automatic convertible top.
With no latches to undo, the fully automatic power convertible top peels away in just 20 seconds and stores underneath its hard tonneau cover. With Intelligent Key in your pocket, the top can be activated from outside by pushing a button on the driver’s door – a real plus on a hot day.

Even the top is high performance.
To help keep warm air in and unwanted noise out, the Roadster top features high-quality dual-layer insulation. A glass rear window with defroster gives a clear view. The designers even took special care to ensure that when the soft top is up, the roofline echoes the aggressive silhouette of the 370Z™ Coupe.
Interior aerodynamics for a comfortable ride.
Extensive testing has gone into the Roadster to minimize buffeting of air as it moves above, around and through the cabin. This allows for more effective heating and cooling of the interior, as well as a quieter ride.
Heated and cooled seats.
Heat wave or cold snap, you can enjoy top-down driving in comfort with the Roadster’s available heated and cooled seats. Air directed through seat perforations in the seatbacks and bottom cushions helps keep you toasty warm or cool and dry.

Navigating through congested areas couldn’t be easier with the available touch-screen, voice-activated Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System. For quicker response and a broader torque curve, Nissan Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) continuously tunes valve lift and timing. World’s first SynchroRev Match manual transmission.
World’s first SynchroRev Match manual transmission technology, available on the Sport Package, monitors the 6-speed’s clutch-pedal operation, shift-lever movement and vehicle speed. Shifting to a lower gear automatically “blips” the throttle to the ideal engine rpm for a smooth downshift. Smoother shifts help keep the chassis balanced, meaning this transmission delivers handling and power.

A 7-speed automatic transmission gives you the best of a manual and an automatic – a wide spread of gearing for heart-pounding acceleration while still providing improved efficiency and quiet cruising at higher speeds.
