Nissan is an official sponsor of the 2017 BET Experience
June 22 to 25, Los Angeles will once again serve as the host city of the BET Awards and Nissan is proud to be the official vehicle sponsor of the BET Experience. We’ll be bringing the latest Nissan models to the party to join in the celebration.
At the BET Experience Fan Fest, being held Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, attendees can get up close and personal with some of the latest Nissan models — including SR Midnight Editions of the 2017 Maxima and 2017 Altima and a 2017 Rogue Sport™ SL as they take in a variety of scheduled events including special entertainment by MC Lyte and DJ D-Nice. Other activities include instant win games, great prizes, a photo booth, and special giveaways.
Specially designed for Nissan at the event will be a booth featuring the graphic design of creative visionary Erin Robinson. A fashion designer by trade, Robinson is a trained fine artist who attended Parsons School of Design and the Corcoran School of Art. Her daydreamy, magical imagination is inspired by travel, color, texture, the feminine shape and the many shades and coifs of Brooklyn.
And when the celebrities hit the red carpet for the big event Sunday evening the Monarch Orange 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport and a Blaze Metallic 2017 Nissan GT-R with Rakuta Tan interior will be right there beside them as they show off their looks.

The 2016 BET Experience Featured The 2017 Nissan Armada
Nissan was the exclusive automotive sponsor of the 2016 BET Experience. Featuring events, celebrity guests, a golf tournament and live music it also allowed Nissan to showcase some of their 2017 models including an insider look at the 2017 Nissan Armada.
Best in its class, the advanced Armada blends sophistication with power, offering exclusive safety technology and high-quality design. Some of the highlights of the 2017 Armada include:
Strength & Reliability
A V8 engine and high-end engineering for more capability and a smoother ride
A bold exterior design with premium leather interior and chrome accents
The 2016 BET Experience also featured a look at Nissan’s 5-car lineup. The new 2017 Nissan GT-R — the next generation of the one and only supercar for anyone — and the Nissan Murano — a winner of more awards over the last two years than any other SUV in its class — will be accessorizing the BetX Red carpet with the latest Maxima, Rogue and Altima models on display inside.

2015 BET Experience: A Night to Remember
Maxima SR Midnight at 2015 BET Experience[*]
In 2015, Nissan participated in the annual BET Experience held in L.A., from June 25th–June 28th, as the event’s exclusive automotive sponsor. This experience included free concerts, celebrity sightings, awesome prizes, and no shortage of cool cars.
Guests of the Nissan Pitch Black Pavilion were able to catch a glance of the Maxima SR Midnight—a black-on-black version of the new 2016 Maxima—as well as the 2015 Rogue® SL and 2015 Altima® 2.5 SL, both featured in "Super Black" exterior paint.
The Pavilion’s House DJ, 33 1/3, kept the crowds energized as they checked out the cars and played games to win Nissan swag. Powerful female rapper MC Lyte and hip-hop artist Lecrae made guest appearances at the pavilion, signing autographs and handing out CDs.
Located across from the pavilion, the BETX Stage—presented by Nissan—featured a special DJ performance by MC Lyte, and free concerts throughout the weekend. The artist lineup included Tinashe, Cypress Hill, Too $hort, Fetty Wap, Tink, AKA, Lecrae, and Jidenna.
On Sunday, awards night, the 2016 Maxima SR and 2015 Murano® Platinum were among the stars on the red carpet. In fact, the new Maxima was an 'award' in its own right when winner of the Nissan My Bold Style contest, Rebecca Striplet, was presented with her very own 2016 Maxima.
Contestants of the Nissan My Bold Style contest were asked to create a 15-second Instagram video showing how they embodied the excitement, celebration, swagger, and unique, bold style of the 2016 Nissan Maxima and BET Awards. Striplet's winning video got her an all-expense paid trip to the 2015 BET Awards…and a brand-new car!
