Murano: The 2021 Nissan Murano offers a 3.5L V6 engine, and 260 HP @6,000 rpm. A step-up in power from the Nissan Rogue, the Nissan Murano delivers plenty of power in a crossover. 

Pathfinder: The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is packed with power. Towing capacity

Along with more power, comes greater towing capacity. These 3 powerful vehicles also have 3 different towing capacities. If you only need towing capacity to tow up to 1,350 lbs., the Rogue is a great choice.[[114]] The Murano can tow more than the Rogue with a towing capacity of up to 1,500 lbs. Whereas the 2022 Pathfinder can tow up to 6,000 lbs., so you can bring all the toys the Pathfinder can handle, on all your adventures.

The Nissan Pathfinder is the second largest SUV in the Nissan lineup. And the largest of the three vehicles in this comparison, measuring 114.2 in. of wheelbase, 197.7 in total length., 66.9 in. of height, and an overall width of 77.9 in.

Right in the middle of the three is the Nissan Murano. The Murano comes in at 111.2 in of wheelbase, a length of 192.8 in, 67.8 in of height and an overall width of 75.4 in. A great choice if the Pathfinder is too large for your needs.

And lastly the Nissan Rogue which is slightly smaller in size than the Murano. The Rogue's exterior measurements are 106.5 in. wheelbase, 183 in. in length, 66.5 in. height and 72.4 in. overall width. 

Seating capacity

As expected, with the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder being the largest SUV in this comparison, it has the most passenger room.  With its third row, there is seating capacity for up to 8 passengers. This might be the best pick for a large crew, or if you just need the extra interior space. 

For the two midsize crossovers, both the 2021 Nissan Murano and 2021 Nissan Rogue offer 2 rows of seating for up to 5 passengers, however, the 2021 Nissan Murano offers more total interior volume than the 2021 Nissan Rogue.

The 2021 Nissan Murano is just a little smaller in size from the Pathfinder with 74.4 cu.ft. of cargo space with the second row folded down, and 37.7 cu.ft with the rear seats up.[[23]] The 2021 Nissan Rogue is not far behind the Murano with 72.0 cu.ft with the second row folded down, and 36.8 cu.ft with the rear seats up.[[23]]
