This holiday season, Nissan will donate an additional $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity

From November 6, 2023, through January 1, 2024, Nissan USA will donate an additional $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity International, bringing our total annual donation to $1.3 million.

Since 2005, Nissan has proudly supported, collaborated and partnered with Habitat for Humanity. This year, we’re renewing our commitment with a holiday season donation of $500,000. This comes on top of $800,000 already contributed for a total annual donation of $1.3 million. Nissan also supported the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work project. This program brought together future homeowners and thousands of volunteers — including Nissan employees — to build 27 new homes in Charlotte, N.C. So, what’s next? That’ll depend on who needs our help, and where we can make the most impact. What’s certain is that whatever happens, Nissan and Habitat for Humanity will be there together.

Nissan and Habitat for Humanity at a glance:

  • 18 years of partnership
  • 160 donated vehicles,
  • 112,000+ volunteer hours
  • Over $20 million in contributions
  • $500,000 holiday donation this year
  • $1.3 million total donated in 2023

Join Nissan this holiday season in supporting Habitat for Humanity. Every donation helps a family achieve strength and stability through an affordable home.

Since 1992, the Nissan Foundation has awarded millions of dollars to 150+ organizations promoting respect and understanding among cultural and ethnic groups. Nissan Foundation grants are awarded annually to support organizations educating our world on the benefits of a more diverse and inclusive society.

Nissan Neighbors accepts grant applications throughout the year for projects that are community-led initiatives working in three focus areas: education, the environment, and humanitarian aid.

The Nissan Foundation: 30+ years of support

The mission of the Nissan Foundation – to build community by valuing cultural diversity - is as relevant today as it was in 1992, when it was founded. Formed in response to the civil unrest that occurred near Nissan North America’s then U.S. sales operations in Southern California following the Rodney King trial verdict, the Nissan Foundation has annually awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to nonprofit organizations that support the Foundation’s mission.
