It’s an apex predator
Z® NISMO®
Some think the most powerful Z ever is an impressive achievement. But for the maverick engineers at NISMO, it is only the beginning. They studied, tuned, and developed key performance aspects to create a vision of the ultimate Z.[1]
- Aerodynamic body design
- 420-hp, NISMO-tuned engine[2]
- NISMO-tuned suspension
- NISMO 19" RAYS® forged-alloy wheels
- Recaro® seats

WHAT INSPIRES Z NISMO’S AERODYNAMICS?
For Z NISMO, knowledge learned at the track makes its way to the street. Up front, a unique honeycomb grille enhances engine cooling and directs air to help cool the brakes, while a redesigned front lip, canard wing vortex generators, and a flat underbody panel help provide additional downforce. Additional aerodynamics that help reduce drag and increase downforce include wider sill side spoilers, air splitters on the rear bumper sides, and a unique rear spoiler.[1]

It squeezes the air for power[1]
WHAT IS Z NISMO’S HORSEPOWER?
The most powerful Z ever checks in with 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. Getting there included employing additional cooling capacity, ignition timing control borrowed from the GT‑R®, and a revised electronic wastegate control. The results are quicker throttle response while maintaining a linear power flow and a thrilling rush to the redline.[1, 2]

WHAT ARE Z NISMO’S 9-SPEED TRANSMISSION AND NISMO-SPECIFIC SPORT+ DRIVE MODE?
Doling out Z NISMO’s power is a NISMO-tuned 9-speed automatic transmission with a shortened clutch strike for quicker shift response and added clutch plates to help reduce internal heat. A unique Sport+ Drive Mode, developed for track use, employs special logic to hold a lower gear for greater torque and response when needed and offers 50% quicker shifts.[1, 2]

HOW WAS Z NISMO’S SUSPENSION TUNED?
Long hours at Tsukuba Circuit paid off with enhanced handling. Larger-diameter shocks, higher spring rates, stiffer stabilizer bars, and high-rigidity bushings help provide track-worthy response and control. To help increase chassis rigidity, key reinforcements include front and rear crossbars and an underbody V-brace.
Connecting you to the suspension is a retuned mapping of the electric power steering system and a high-rigidity steering rack insulator that helps provide enhanced feedback at the wheel.[1]

NISMO WHEELS BY RAYS®
Grip and response come courtesy of wider-width 19" lightweight RAYS® forged-alloy wheels. Lessons learned in the development of the GT-R supercar were applied to create unique Dunlop® performance tires that can make the most of the enhancements to the suspension and braking.

It throws out the anchors
NISMO/AKEBONO® BRAKES
Braking can provide more g-forces than cornering or acceleration, so it’s a key component of overall performance. Z NISMO features unique rigid front calipers with larger 15" front rotors and a special brake pad material to help reduce brake fade. Aerodynamic enhancements, including special air guides, help pour cooling air over the brakes.
It grabs more than your imagination
RECARO® SEATS
To match Z NISMO’s prowess, a unique Recaro® seat helps hold you in place. With genuine Alcantara® appointments, an embroidered NISMO logo on the headrest, and subtle red contrasting stitching, it looks as good as it feels.

ALCANTARA® STEERING WHEEL & DIGITAL DASH
As modern as it is, Z NISMO has a deep sense of history, including a red tachometer face — long a NISMO tradition and a symbol of our passion for performance.
