Feature Benefits

The vehicle touchscreen control allows you to control, monitor, open, and close the garage door from your compatible vehicle.

A configurable Geofence Mode lets you customize your garage door settings. Choose the distance you'd like your vehicle's touchscreen to auto-prompt you to open and close the garage door when arriving or leaving.

Get peace of mind by ensuring your garage is securely closed by setting custom reminders on your vehicle's touchscreen. Set it to prompt you between 1 to 10 minutes after you leave home and a pop up reminder will appear on your touchscreen to close your garage door.

Connected Garage Setup Guide

To get started, make sure you have a myQ-enabled garage door opener or a Smart Garage(R) Control device. Check if your garage door opener is compatible on the myQ website.

Before you start the onboarding process, ensure your vehicle is safely parked, either inside or outside the garage, with no obstructions for the garage door.[[3942]][[1713]]

Onboarding

Power on your vehicle and remain in the parked position.
Navigate to the Apps list and select 'myQ Garage'.
Scan the QR Code using your mobile device. This will take you to a myQ | Nissan welcome page.
On your mobile device, tap Sign In if you are an existing myQ User. If you are a new myQ user, tap Learn More to get signed up.
Review Authorization ‘Consent’ and if you consent, tap Authorize.
Review ‘Disclaimer’ on vehicle touchscreen and tap OK.
Your vehicle is now linked to your myQ Garage Door Device(s).

Set up geofencing for your Connected Garage Door Opener

Position your vehicle in your driveway, outside of the garage door, and remain in the parked position with your vehicle powered on.
Navigate to the Apps list and select 'myQ Garage'.
Tap on your garage door pencil edit icon and ensure your Garage Door Opener is set as default.
Enable ‘Geofencing Mode’ then tap on ‘Add’ to ‘Set Garage Location’.
Tap ‘Set’ when you see your location on the displayed map.
Set ‘Geofencing Range (ft)’ to your preferred performance.

Note: Performance may vary depending on your geographic location and GPS signal/availability.

Do I have to enter my credit card information for a trial?

No credit card information is required for the trial. A compatible equipped vehicle and compatible garage door device and active NissanConnect Services Package is required.

How can I add a myQ Connected Garage to an additional Nissan vehicle?

Ensure your Nissan vehicle is compatible and follow the account linking process. A compatible equipped vehicle and compatible garage door opener is required.

Can a myQ Co-Owner or a myQ Guest link myQ Connected Garage with Nissan?

Yes, Co-Owners can link their myQ Connected Garage account to a myQ compatible Nissan vehicle.

At this time, myQ Connected Garage does not support Guest, Friends, and Family Accounts at this time.

What myQ devices can I control/monitor in my Nissan vehicle?

myQ devices can only control/monitor Garage Door Openers through the status/controls on the In-Vehicle touchscreen display. Voice, gates, locks, cameras, and light controls are not supported.

How do I set up Geofencing on my vehicle?

3. Tap on the Pencil Edit icon in the upper right corner of your selected garage door and ensure your garage door opener is set as default
4. Enable Close Door Reminder and set your desired reminder prompt time in the Remind Me In field between 1 to 10 minutes after you leave home and a pop-up reminder will appear on your touchscreen to close your garage door

How to determine if your garage door opener is Wi-Fi compatible?

My device code does not work during account linking.

The device code expires after 5 minutes once populated on the account linking screen. Navigate back to the In-Vehicle-Infotainment apps menu and re-select myQ Garage App to reset the device code.

Which Nissan models are equipped with HomeLink in the rearview mirror?

Select new Nissan trims do not include HomeLink, instead it features Connected Garage Door Opener with myQ.[[6013]]
