THE BATTERY

Your EV's Heart

Like any conventional vehicle, Nissan EVs have a battery. But instead of using it for starting or ignition, it powers the motor to create motion. In other words, the battery replaces a gas-powered engine.

Ready for any weather

With technologies like the 2026 LEAF’s available Active Battery Thermal Management and its hybrid heat pump system, Nissan EVs perform their best in extreme weather. Driver-friendly features like remote climate control allow you to pre-cool or warm the cabin, even while charging, for a comfortable ride. [[1189]][[1674]]

A plan to get you there

Nissan EVs include innovative technology you can depend on to help prepare and inform you for the journey ahead.

JUST PLUG IT IN

Like your smartphone, your EV needs to be charged with electricity. And like your smartphone, recharging is as easy as plugging in. [[3981]]
