Rather than being designed to the demands of aerodynamics, the GT-R sculpts the air to its needs – becoming a force of nature, as much as a force to be reckoned with.
Aggressive front end
Large grille openings allow cooling air to key components. The front fascia shape helps direct air around the front wheel wells, reducing drag.
Side skirts and c-pillar
GT-R’s side skirts help prevent airflow from being drawn underneath the vehicle, allowing for more consistent downforce and grip. The area around the C-pillar reduces turbulence to help accelerate airflow toward the rear of the body.
Extended rear fascia
The GT-R’s rear fascia is extended at the sides to accelerate air away from the back of the bumper, helping to pull hot gases away, cooling the exhaust.
