Nissan/Brembo® Carbon Ceramic Braking System

Increasing friction — the heart of braking — requires an incredibly hard compound. Carbon ceramic is strong, exceptionally light, and heat-resistant — a lesson learned from racing. Mechanical Front Limited-slip Differential

20" RAYS® Forged Wheels

Competition-tuned suspension

GT-R NISMO’s suspension setup is tuned for stunning agility and handling finesse without compromising refinement. The springs and custom-developed Bilstein® DampTronic® dampers in the front and rear suspension are specially tuned to deliver exceptional grip levels and progressive handling response at the limit. Body bonding for enhanced rigidity

To enhance GT-R’s already rigid platform, additional adhesive bonding was added to key spot welds for increased body shell rigidity.

Compared to non-NISMO models, reducing weight over the nose of the vehicle lowers the overall center of gravity, enhances front-to-rear weight distribution, and improves cornering turn-in. Redesigned Front and Rear Fascias

Optimized for more line-tracking performance, the NISMO-unique front lip, canards, and grille all help add downforce, while the grille also helps with cooling. A new rear fascia enhances downforce while helping keep drag to a sleek 0.26 Cd.

Carbon-fiber Side Sills

The carbon-fiber side sills continue the work started at the front of the car — helping to generate additional downforce compared to Premium trim GT-R models. [[165]]

A legacy of unmatched dominance in GT500

GT-R NISMO showcases our passion for motorsport. In 2022, Nissan retired the R35 GT-R-based GT500 racer, and the only people happy about it were the competition. The GT500 started racing in 2008, winning seven out of nine debut races. With 41 wins in 14 seasons, it set records. A NISMO GT-R GT3 racer also won the 2022 GT300 championships.
