HOW TO MAKE A NISSAN KIDSTER CARDBOARD BOX CAR

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BUILD YOUR KIDSTER:

– Cardboard box
– Packing tape
– Coloring materials (Paint, pencils, etc.)
– Paper
– Printer
– Scissors
– Utility knife
– Glue
– Paper plate or cardboard
– Cork or pencil
– Tacks
– Aluminum Foil

How To Make A Cardboard Box Car Step 1

STEP 1

Find a cardboard box big enough to fit your little one(s). Seal the top of the box with packing tape.

STEP 2

Have a grown-up cut about two-thirds of the top of the box.

STEP 3

Fold the top as shown and affix it with tape. Ta-da! Now you've got a windshield!

Now, let the kids paint it in any color they'd like. Apply patterns, animal sketches or whatever else they want. Outline the doors—two or four, depending on your style.

Print, cut out, and glue in all the elements they chose (wheels, steering wheel, logos, etc.).

For a moveable steering wheel, use a paper plate or another piece of card board and use a pencil or cork with tacks to affix it. Bam! 

Ta-da! Now your kid can take their Nissan for a spin right in your living room. Oh, and don't forget to buckle up!

Bonus step: Make side view mirrors by taking two, flat small cardboard pieces and folding them a quarter of the way. Glue the folded part onto the sides of the boxes. Then, simply glue aluminum foil onto the pieces to add your mirrors.
