THE FUTURE OF THE NISSAN SEDAN
In January 2017, at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Nissan unveiled the Vmotion 2.0 Concept, and with it, a new direction in sedan design. Before it even left the NAIAS floor, the striking concept had picked up the show’s EyesOn Design Award for Design Excellence.
INTELLIGENT DRIVING FOR EVERY ROAD
Vmotion 2.0 provides a glimpse into the future Nissan Intelligent Mobility with the innovative ProPILOT autonomous driving system. ProPILOT is programmed to navigate not only highways and heavy traffic, but urban roads, traffic, and intersections. When the system is engaged, the Nissan emblem in the grille and the diffuser in the rear are subtly illuminated, letting other motorists and pedestrians know that ProPILOT is in control.
THE FUTURE OF NISSAN DESIGN
Vmotion 2.0’s designers gave it a dramatic 3-dimensional front design and silhouette that epitomizes the new Nissan “Emotional Geometry” design language. A signature ‘floating roof’ flows seamlessly from the steeply raked windshield right through to the rear of the car. A warm, silver paint with copper undertones give the finish a layered effect that presents different hues and colors when viewed from different angles.
CABIN FOCUSED INTERIOR STYLING
Vmotion 2.0’s extended wheelbase gives it a spacious cabin that has been designed for today’s connected world. Its front and rear doors open in opposite directions to create a pillar-less, uninterrupted interior space. A sleek and unobtrusive dashboard offers both front passengers access to the VMotion 2.0’s extensive suite of technologies and entertainment options.
